Call for papers: Contemporary Philosophical Issues (University of Rijeka)

The Department of Philosophy (University of Rijeka) and the Croatian Society for Analytic Philosophy are organizing the 22nd edition of the annual conference Contemporary Philosophical Issues to be held online, via Zoom, September 16th and 17th 2021.

We welcome proposals for presentations ranging across the full range of issues in analytic philosophy, spanning all philosophical areas, including theoretical and practical philosophy as well as cognitive, empirical, neuro-scientific and meta approaches to philosophical concerns. We are interested in the latest developments in philosophical theories pertaining to what are traditionally considered ‘big philosophical questions’ and we aim to establish a point of contact for philosophers working in separate areas in order to jointly explore the power of philosophy to address human experience and the complexities of our everyday lives, social and political institutions, ethical interactions, creative and knowledge-seeking practices, culture and language.

Nenad Miščević (University of Maribor, CEU Budapest)
